Under Kerak's leadership, these former soldiers would form the backbone of the Garrison, projecting its power across the Republics. With each Republic that joined New Colonia, The Garrison would assimilate their forces into their ranks. Under Kerak new recruits would find no quarter for failure or weakness in his presence, as he tolerated neither. The Garrison became the anvil upon which their loyalty was tried, and those who failed paid for it with their lives.
